The number of people who can actually read historical German (hand)writing is declining. Those who can read it often don’t have time to deal with its intricacies or to search out the necessary documentation from archives. Administrative texts are most often kept in archives and gaining access to them can be complicated and time consuming.

This concerns construction firms, scientific institutes, universities (doctoral candidates, projects, etc.), conservators, firms (e.g. for anniversary chronicles), societies, associations, political parties as well as church institutions, genealogists, private individuals pursuing hobbies like family histories …
